For anyone
The first few days after
However your experience went, the days afterwards can feel tender. Here are some gentle things that many people find help. Take what's useful and leave the rest.
Rest
Leave space in your calendar if you can. You don't need to rush back to normal.
Sleep and food
Simple meals, water and early nights go a long way.
Write it down
Jot down images, feelings or words while they're fresh. They don't need to make sense yet.
Get outside
A walk, the ocean, a patch of grass. Slow time in nature helps a lot of people feel grounded.
Be gentle with yourself
Big feelings can come in waves. There's no right way to feel, and no need to have answers.
Reach out
Talk with someone you trust. If there's no one nearby, our coaches are here whenever you're ready.
If things feel hard or frightening, you don't have to wait.
If you'd like to talk it through, our coaches are here. This isn't medical advice. If you're worried about your health, contact a doctor or call 911.
